Short description of the program:Departure from Albenain direction to city of Byala. Visiting theLate Antiquity fortress located on Cape St. Atanas.Its location is such that in front of you can see beautiful view of the sea and the coast on the left and the right. The fortress has its own ancient winery, port and many administration building and streets. Departure to Nessebar. Discover the Old part of Nessebar-an island-museum included into UNESCO`s World Heritage List by taking part in a pleasant walking tour and than enjoy a great wine-tasting in one of the wineries in the town of Pomorie! The walking tour in Nessebarincludesthe mostbeautiful churches and cultural monuments on the island and a visit to the Archeological museum (entrance fees included). No rush, just enjoy the charm of the historical island, the narrow cobblestone streets, the small local shops for handmade souvenirs, icons and pictures…After the walking tour departure to the town of Pomoriesituated 20 km away from Nessebar. Learn a bit more about the history and the habits of the country by visitingthe local monastery of St. George (16 c., entrance fees included) and the Thracian tomb(2 c., entrance fees included) at Pomorie.And this is not all for today-the most pleasant part of the journey still follows: the wine-tasting! Taste the excellent local wine in the best winery in this region on a wine-tasting guided by a professional sommelier . Second excursion Albena-Balchik-Cape kaliakra
Short description of the program
Departure from Albenain direction to Balchik. Visit to the picturesque lime-stone town of Balchik. A walk around the summer residence of the ex-queen of Romania -Maria -a romantic and elegant architectural mixture of oriental and European styles, situated on the sea coast, amidst a magnificent botanical garden. More than 3000 plants are planted together in this place, including the second biggest Cacti collection in Europe, which consists of more than 250 different types. Our next stop is the picturesque cape Kaliakrawith the remains of a Medieval fortress. Translated from ancient Greek the name of the cape means "beautiful cape". Apart from being known for its natural beauty, Kaliakrais also famous for the valuable archaeological findings in the area, most of which are exhibited in the local museum hall. Departure to Lighthouse Golf and SPA resort. A short Golf lesson. Return to Albenain the afternoon.

Third excursion Albena-Pliska-Shumen-Madara
Departure from Albenain direction to the Stone Forest -a fabulous
natural pheno-menamost known with its Bulgarian name of "Pobitite
Kamani", which means "stones beaten into the ground". The phenomena has no analogue in the world and is one of the three world-known geological sites in Bulgaria. Departure to Pliska–the capital of Bulgaria between 681 and 893 AD. The site of the city is currently a National Archaeological Reserve. Ruins of the Great and the Small Palace, the strong stone fortifications and the Great Basilica can be seen in the reserve. Visit to the Founders of the Bulgarian State monument, built in 1981 to commemorate the 1300th anniversary of the First Bulgarian Empire. It stands at a height of 450 m above sea level and represents the most important moments from the Bulgarian history from VII to X century AD.Departure to village of Madaraand the MadaraHorseman -an early medieval large rock relief carved on the MadaraPlateau, depicting a majestic horseman 23m (75ft) above ground level in an almost vertical 100m (328ft)-high cliff. The monument is dated to about 710 BC and has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1979. Beer tasting-the city of Shumen is known in the country as the city with the largest beer production capacity.
