1-st day Landing in BUCHAREST

The group lands in Bucharest. Transfer from the airport to a 4* hotel in the central part of the Romanian capital. After accommodation, dinner in the hotel. Overnight.

2-nd day BUCHAREST

Breakfast in the hotel. Sightseeing tour of the most important sites and areas of the city, known as the Little Paris: Triumph Arch, Victory Square, Magheru Avenue (commercial street), Royal Palace (nowadays the seat of National Art Museum - optional visit), Atheneum, Revolution Square, Calea Victoriei Avenue, Unirii Square, Parliament Palace, a "giant" built during the "golden age" of the dictatorial regime and listed in the Guiness Book of World Records as the world second biggest building after the Pentagon building. Visit of the Mitropoliei Cathedral - the seat of the Orthodox Romanian Church. Next a short walking at the Old Princely Court. The first local place of residence was built during the rule of Vlad the Impaler in the 15th century and Radu cel Frumos moved the princely residence and the Wallachain capital to Bucharest. In the 16th century Mircea Ciobanul rebuilt it completely and afterward it became the nucleus of the Bucharest. Return in the Old District for a walking tour: Lipscani street, Stavropolus church, Capsa Hotel, Manuc Inn, and more. Dinner in the hotel / local restaurant. Overnight.

3-rd day BUCHAREST – SINAIA – BRAN - BRASOV /Total distance: 233km/

Breakfast in the hotel. Departure for Transylvania region in Romania. First stop in Sinaia – visit of the Peles Castle, one of the most important museums in Transylvania. Continue to Bran and visit of the famous Bran Castle, also called the Dracula’s Castle. The castle got its fame from Dracula's legend written in 1897 by Bram Stoker. Along the history, the Castle had a strategic mission being the border between Transylvania and Wallachia. First it was under the rule of the King of Hungary Sigismund of Luxemburg, of the Romanian voievodes Mircea cel Batran and Vlad Tepes and later on it came under the jurisdiction of the City of Brasov. Continue route to Brasov - one of the oldest in Europe, dating from 1235. Sightseeing tour of the city: Council Square, Black Church, White and Black Towers, Weaver’s Bastion, Ecaterina’s Gate. Dinner and overnight in Brasov.

4-th day BRASOV – TULCEA /Total distance: 344 km/

Breakfast in the hotel. Departure for the Danube Delta. The Delta of the Danube River represents one of the last paradises in Europe – a network of channels, lakes and lushly vegetated forests. It is home of fascinating mix of cultures and people and revels a huge diversity of birds - glossy ibis, spoonbills, rollers, white tailed eagle and more, presided over by the greatest of them all, the pelican. River cruise on the Danube Delta. Dinner and overnight in Tulca.

5-th day TULCEA – ALBENA /Total distance: 257 km/

Breakfast in the hotel. Departure to Bulgaria. On the way – visit of Constantsa and sightseeing tour of the Romanian summer resort Mamaia. Arrival in the Bulgarian Summer resort – Albena. Accommodation in hotel Flamingo Grand 5*. Dinner and overnight.

6-th day ALBENA

Breakfast in the hotel. Sightseeing tour of Albena. Free time for leisure, spa &wellness rituals, beach activities. Dinner and overnight.

7-th day ALBENA /Total distance 30km/

Breakfast in the hotel. Excursion to a typical Bulgarian village – home-made rakia, small atelier for ceramics, home-made bread and yogurt. Dinner in the open-air restaurant Bulgarian Fiesta – rich folklore program, music, dances, demonstration of the world-known Dances on Fire. Overnight in Albena.

8-th day ALBENA /Total distance 45km/

Breakfast in the hotel. Excursion to Balchik – the so-called White city. Visit to “The Palace” – territory of the former residence of the Romanian Queen Marie, has statute of a landmark of culture. Nowadays, it is one of the 100 National Tourist Sites and a magnificent architectural and park complex of national importance with a wild collection of trees, flowers, cactuses from all over the world. Continue of the trip to Cape Kaliakra – one of the most beautiful and historic capes in Europe. There are rests of an ancient fortress, successfully used by Tracians, Romans, Byzantines and Bulgarians. Numerous legends are linked to the site. Lunch in the Mussels Farm nearby – the first experimental underwater farm in Bulgaria, offering unexpected meals on the base of mussels /not in the price package/. Return to Albena. Dinner and overnight.

9-th day ALBENA /Total distance 40km

Breakfast in the hotel. Departure to Dobrich – the center of the Agriculture region of Dobrudja. Sightseeing tour of the city: the park zone, the city center, the Old part of the city. Return to Albena. Dinner and overnight.

10-th day ALBENA /Total distance 80 km/

Breakfast in the hotel. Excursion to Varna. On the road, visit of the Aladja monastery – a medieval Orthodoc Christian cave monastery from the 12th century. Visit of  Ovech Fotress- inhabited successively by Thracians, Romans, Byzantines, Bulgarians, and Turks. It is related to the reign of Tsar Ivaylo (1277 – 1280), the crusade of Amadeus IV, Count of Savoy (1366), and the crusade of Vladislav Varnenchik (1444). Visit of a Bulgarian farm/winery and dinner. Return to Albena. Dinner.Overnight.

11-th day ALBENA

12-th day ALBENA - BUCHAREST /Total distance: 298km/
